Team Building for Faculty

Team Building for Faculty

In this 1-2 day seminar, John uses his background in spiritual psychology and counseling psychology, plus his years of experience in large and small corporate and entrepreneurial environments, to fashion a team building experience that builds consensus and creates an action plan for any small/medium department or school.

The seminar is built on first understanding the department’s baseline:  what is the identified issue?  A preliminary survey, conducted and tabulated prior to the workshop, allows the team to review its diverse views on the subject, and then set the stage for further process.

In subsequent sessions, participants get to voice their ideas, get to know one another in new ways, and identify opportunities for collaboration towards a set of shared goals.

The final session focuses on an action plan, with defined participations, milestones and goals.

The final outcome of the workshop may be quite different from where participants thought it would go at the beginning, but because it is something that they have created themselves, they are more likely to continue invest in the process, and achieve their newly minted objectives.
