Carnegie Mellon MEIM Program

Carnegie Mellon engaged John to develop and lead an Industry Relations program for its Master's degree program in Entertainment Industry Management - based in Los Angeles.  This unique and innovative graduate-level program prepares students as entrepreneurial leaders across all screen-based entertainment platforms and formats.

John has forged deeper ties with the Hollywood industry, expanded the program’s pool of adjunct faculty, enlisted mainstream companies as sponsors of the students’ thesis “capstone” projects, and created ongoing dialogue with the industry about the program’s curriculum and its evolution.  Additionally, he is helping guide the program’s career development agenda, supporting the students’ life-long personal branding and communication skills that are increasingly necessary in a more competitive and global industry.
